Binding wire

Binding Wire Field of Application

Soft binding wire is designed for binding reinforcement and meshes in the manufacture of reinforced concrete structures, as well as for various technological operations that require soft steel wire, which has high flexibility and resistance to repeated bending. Examples include tying various parts, packing big bags and ordinary bags, tying and packing various products, installing Egoza razor wire and other metal structures during construction and installation work. Binding wire is produced both uncoated and galvanized, in addition, it is available with or without bright annealing. Depending on the scope of the binding wire, one or another type of this product is used.

Binding Wire Assortment

A wide range of binding wire is industrially produced. Binding wire is produced in diameters from 0.16 to 10.00 mm, while galvanized binding wire is manufactured in the range of diameters from 0.20 to 6.00 mm, and wire without a protective coating - in the entire range of available diameters.

The raw material for the production of binding wire is wire rod or low-carbon steel wire. Binding wire is produced conventional or heat-treated, then it can be coated with zinc for corrosion protection, or it can be used without zinc coating.

Requirements for Binding Wire

A number of requirements are imposed on the binding wire produced by the industry. Non-thermally treated binding wire must withstand at least four kinks without breaking. The surface of uncoated binding wire should not have cracks and scale, small dents and scratches are allowed on its surface. In the case of the production of galvanized binding wire, there should be no areas on its surface that are not coated with zinc. In this case, the zinc coating of the binding wire must not crack or flake off.

Manufactured binding wire is supplied to the consumer on coils or in coils. At the same time, when supplying binding wire in coils, it is allowed to wind no more than three pieces of wire, and when supplied in coils, it must consist of one piece. The winding of coils and coils must be carried out without tangling turns to ensure normal winding of the wire when it is used in production.

How to Buy Binding Wire?

To buy a binding wire, first of all, you need to decide on its required type, taking into account the scope of this product. In some cases, it is necessary to buy galvanized binding wire, while in others uncoated wire will suffice. An important factor that influences the choice of the supplier from which you are going to buy the wire is the price of the binding wire, since the purchase budget is usually limited to certain limits. But do not forget about the quality of the binding wire - a low price cannot be a reason to buy a wire that does not meet the requirements of certain standards. Different countries have different standards for binding wires, so you should always check binding wires made in other countries against national standards.
